S/S 2021 MENSWEAR

This is a Spring Summer 2021 menswear collection. The theme for this collection is inspired by a psychological reaction called benign masochism. It is a phenomenon that everyone experiences. I focused on the scents within the benign masochism reaction, which is when one finds supposedly unpleasant scents pleasant. The idea of this collection is to be fun and playful. Using the element of surprise with items like jam, oranges, and lavender as a pleasant contrast to rotten fruits, burnt toast, paint, cigarette, and mold, etc. These items then became my source of inspiration and research behind my collection.
